The Tooth Fairy

Before we went for The Tooth Fairy musical, I could not help but wonder how the fairy would look like. When she appeared, she was indeed lovely in a white layered ballerina dress with a magic wand and tiara. I love fairies since young, yes till now!! The DBS Theatre is located in a poshier area then the Victoria Theatre. It was a 1 hour 45 mins musical and was surprised that Alden could sit through it and at least could laugh at times. The musical was well-done at least I dun get bored cos I am not the sort who really loves musicals. I am considering whether to bring him for another next year.

Last Sat, we had gone for the best BBQ that I had ever tried. A relative of ours was celebrating her baby girl's full month. Their baby is big at 4 kgs plus for a newborn. Her hubby can really BBQ very well. The food was well-prepared by herself and her mother. A lot of yakitori style meat and vegs. We had a good time with them.

8 Ladybird Stories before Bedtime

Alden's bedtime is still past 11pm!! Tonight even after daddy delivered his version of Momotaro's stories, Alden's eyes are still wide open. Daddy has been very innovative as his Momotaro's stories is mixed with other cartoon characters and monsters. He can tell the stories without story books. His story always starts with "One day .... and what to do? how to kill the monster?" (daddy always tells his stories in Chinese as Alden is so comfortable in the language now due to daily conversations with inlaws). The first time he was asked the question, Alden replied " Call 995!" So Alden is captivated as it is something very different from hearing stories from me as I only tell him stories from books (not very creative). Tonight, after daddy's tale, I gave in to telling him 8 Ladybird Stories before he finally hit the sack! By then, the clock reads 12am. I really wonder how he is going to get out of bed at 7.15am on 2 Jan 2009 to arrive in time for 8am class! God, please show us a miracle without the tears!
