Daddy was off from work and offered to bring us to the zoo. Alden had enjoyed the polar bear, penguin, seals show. The white tigers were very alert, pacing up and down as if ready to pounce on anyone! Ah Meng the 49 year old veteran orang utan was on her walking round with the marshall. We had reached the zoo at 8.45am and left around 1.30pm. Just shortly after we left the zoo, huge drops of rain fell. Alden also fell into his deep sleep. Apparently tired from the excitement at the zoo. Miraculously, he remembered the Children World's ball room as he asked for it despite not being able to enter as it was closed for renovation. He was last there when he was 14 months old.

After we reached home, his cousins came. Despite hubby telling them not to mix the different coloured doughs, they did!! I was freaking mad. Not to talk about having to clear the pasta making mould which was filled with dough pieces of different colours. I do not wish to appear petty about this. But the other time they had spoiled the Kumon playset when they came! Arrggh.... I tried so hard to keep that pasta set clean and tried hard not to mix the colours..but someone else mess it up for me instead!!!

Kerris is down with cough, flu and fever. According to her mum, she had caught it from Russell. Tough luck! Hope she recovers fast.

I ordered a Doraemon cake for Alden's coming 2nd birthday.

11 Oct 07 GUG GIfted Tots last lesson

11 Oct 07 - It was the last lesson at GUG for Alden. Well, he was not the only one to leave the class. Xylia too. Victoria is transferring to Mon and Wed, 11.30pm class. I did feel sad. After all, Alden has attended 15 months of classes here since Gifted Babes. Well, all good things have to come to an end. Coincidentally, it was Cayla's 2nd birthday as well. Patsy did a smart thing of ordering small individual pieces of Sesame St cakes rather than one large cake. Easy to handle and economical!
