Chinese New Year 2007

My dad really cooked up a storm this new year. Curry chicken, meat balls, shark's fin soup, vegetable, steamed fish, pork ribs...

I went back for 2 days and I am so happy to be with my parents.

Tomorrow, we will have rest day at home as following day is hubby's working day.

Valentine's Day 2007

It's been 7 years since we met and love is still going strong. Sweet hubby brought me to Japanese dinner and gave me a heart-shaped Swarovski necklace as a gift. I am the disappointing one cos did not give him any gift in return. I don't know what to buy for him.

Nara Restaurant in Goldhill Centre

We discovered this place from a TV ad. Indeed, it lived up to its recommendation. At least, my hubby and I like the food there. I would definitely go again. Alden love Japanese food too! It is located just opposite United Square and I wonder why I never noticed it before.

I brought Alden to a free babe yoga trial at Growing Up Gifted. He loves the class particularly of the teacher. He smiles several times. After that, we had lingered around till dinner time at Nara. So, I went to pack a packet of tea at the Novena Fish Head Meehoon stall. The fish head meehoon boss commented that Alden is smart! So happy to hear that compliment. Really makes my day :-)

Tomorrow is early reunion dinner at our place for hubby's siblings except his elder brother who opted out.

May and Henning are in town!

Yippee! So happy that May and Henning are in town! I had gone out with her mum yesterday and had brought Alden and my mum along. It was her first time to see Alden. She must be in high spirits since the most filial of her daughters is around. This time, May will be around till Apr. Wow! the longest time I have ever knew. Our friendship dated back to when I was just about 22 years old. The ingredients of ours are simplicity and honesty. I hope to be able to go to the zoo and Botanical Gardens with them besides hanging around Parkway Parade where she stays.
