29 Sep in Oohara

Attended Matsumoto's class and felt comfortable in her class. I will continue to study with her for long till I get my level 1 passed. June was kind to pass me some cooking ingredients and chatted with me after class. I feel so settled in my ward (^.^)

Videos

After watching the 2 videos on cake schools, I lost my confidence in being a patisserie, such devotion needed that I doubt my ability to cope with motherhood. I am in that kind of awkard age where you can't have the best of career and family time without draining your energy.

I shall just concentrate on my efforts to be a good mother and wife first. Packing and keeping things organised.

Cook from cook books and practise cooking on my own. Learn a language or so.

Le Cordon Bleu

GK and I went to Daikanyama Le Cordon Bleu for a briefing session. We were impressed by the school. It is a matter of whether I have the confidence to juggle family life with the course. It is expensive so have to think really carefully. I can go into the course with my present level of Japanese according to the administrator there. I am still not too sure with myself. The cuisine looks great so are the pastries. Even GK is bowled over by the cuisine section. But my dream is to open a cafe right? Such a dilemma.

2 Thai and 1 Indonesian friends are in town so there will be a gathering of some sorts soon.
