Elmo Show

Last Sun, Alden absolutely enjoyed the Elmo show at Downtown East. It was indeed spectacular. Hubby and I also enjoyed it very much. After the 1.5 hours show, Alden was still asking "see elmo!" Daddy wants to buy Alden an Elmo soft toy seeing that he likes Elmo so much.

Today, we met up with Beverly and Ryan in Vivocity. I managed to bring Alden to gymboree playgym for an hour before meeting them. Beverly and I shopped at Toyrus, Growing Fun and Mothercare. I bought Alden a pair of sandals from Colette. We enjoyed chatting lots at Burger King. Alden enjoyed himself so much that in the evening, he still wanted to go out!! So to stop his "nagging", I brought him out to the nearby shopping centre with the company of our neighbours. Joan is such a sweet girl who cares much about Alden.

Pretty shocking news!

Kerris was supposed to attend GUG again today but absent. Victoria is another one who has been absent for 3 lessons consecutively. I decided to sms both mummies and what shocking news I received. Both of their mils have passed away suddenly. It makes me feel bad about having a tiff with my mil the other day. I should have been more tolerant of old folks and treat them with patience. Not just thinking about me, me and my lack of sleep due to caring for Alden the past week as he had unfortunately caught the cough virus from his cousin. It is the 2nd time that his cousin spread the cough to him. I must stay away from his cousin whenever he has the cough. Must leave asap!

Gogobambini's gathering

It was a great turnout for Nov thread mummies/daddies/babes in Gogobambini. It was nice to meet many new mummies and see familiar faces. We were late as daddy had touched down in the morning from Bombay and we had to collect our new car and rest well before proceeding to Gogobambini. Poor daddy was also having a little problem with his stomach. Alden had enjoyed his play there with many other friends. It was crowded as I had expected since I knew there would be another birthday party there cos Victoria is attending. I remembered Alicia, the birthday girl after seeing her mother there.

Over at Botanical Gardens, Alden had refused to settle down for dinner and I had no choice but to walk him around. We really walked pretty far cos daddy had finished his dinner and came looking for us. Other mummies/daddies also finished theirs! So, we had to miss the group photo since Alden had to take his dinner. But he had a great appetite since he burned a lot of energy walking around earlier. I noticed that he desires to play with children if he finds the game is interesting. During the walk, we saw some groups having gatherings. Alden had went forward to touch a little girl who was playing a game with another girl. That's a milestone for him as he is usually a shy boy. I must help him to develop his social skills!
