26 Nov, Sun at Suntec City's Carl's Junior

This is a backdated post! We spotted a new Japanese restaurant, Beppu near the fountain area of Suntec City....wahaha...must try someday. We stick to our original plan of having Carl's Junior Burger. It's my lucky day cos I bought the right burger - mushroom burger which is available for promotion period only! Famous burger is just average taste to me. Alden loves the burger bread too :-) The Carl's Jr tea is great!

We collected the marathon bag and shopped at Carrefour for some stuff. Alden was excited to see all the Christmas decoration in there. The huge bears, the red decorations, Christmas trees and colourful balls....But he pooed twice and that sure made me very busy!!

We have a few parties in line for Dec so looking forward to it :-)

Hanoi trip

Our 9 day Hanoi (10th to 19 Nov), Sapa Mount Fansipang Trek trip was interesting. Encounters with the mountain tribes people opened up my horizons. I realise Alden is so much more fortunate in comparison with them. We managed to reach the peak of the mountain before Mother Nature decided to test our perseverance. As we descended, it started to rain so we decided to take the shorter route back and missed 1 village in the process. David and Rumi completed the trek very well given it's their first time trekking.

The most amazing thing which I forgot to say is my sis and her hubby was in Sapa on travel as well. We did not know about each other's schedule but met both at the train station and the hotel. Yes, coincidentally we stayed in the same hotel - Royal View Hotel.

The hotel was fine except apparently David's mention of that huge rat has definitely made its presence felt on our backpacks by leaving its signature bite!! Leaving us to imagination about its looks!! The carrot soup was great at the restaurant though.

Dinner and Dance at Jewel Box

Dinner and Dance at Jewel Box was nothing complicated except Alden fusses here and there. In fact, we spotted media corp MCs. It was Alden's first time taking the cable car. He pretty enjoyed the ride but he does not like the moments when the cable car's doors were closing.

I realise it is quite unenjoyable to bring toddlers to D & D when he refuses to cooperate and cried! Maybe no more D & D for Alden next year.....just me and hubby shall attend. The heartening thing is hubby won the first prize for the lucky draw ....just shopping vouchers at Takashimaya.
