Finally went to Botak Jones

We had a gathering in Toa Payoh North Botak Jones with Spencer, Gabriel and Poh Poh. It was a great nostalgic meeting with them and Alden clicked with them. It was right after Alden's Chinese class. The class was pretty hands on and the teachers are good and overall am glad that I had sent him. Likely to continue. We had Piccolo Pizza at Botak Jones place instead. The Magaritta Pizza and Signature Pizza were good. The strawberry chocolate fondue from another shop was yummy delicious. All prices are hawker standard!!

3rd day of unaccompanied school

Alden cried the loudest today!! So pitiful but I am not moved. Cos at home he is a tyrant, he chooses the grands over me to put on his clothes, din want to take his bath when I asked him causing grands to think I wanna take things easy out.....so I am not moved by his cries! hee!!

Brought him to T3 and he had fun with Ryan. Beverly has recovered well and looking good. She is really into child modeling and stuff but I feel it may be too stressful for the child.

We 2 crazy mums went to T3 without going to the viewing gallery!! But did let our tods take the skytrain till to their hearts' content. At parents' s place after T3 and had nice porridge with mum. Dad as usual cooked crabs again!! and carrot cake!!

First 2 days of unaccompanied school

The first 2 days of unaccompanied school is over. Alden has survived!! haha...he wails only at separation and on and off in class but overall he is all right. At pick up time today he did not cry unlike yesterday.

It's time to grow up!! Poor kids, we started at 6 years old but they start at 2 now!!

Alden's 1st day of school at Catholic Kindergarten

It's 2 Jan 2008 - Alden's first day of accompanied class at Catholic Kindergarten. It's not much of a difference to him since it was still accompanied. The challenge comes after the 3rd day when it is unaccompanied!! Like the playground but teachers-wise, I am not impressed.

Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon and Songs of the Sea

It was New Year's Eve and we decided to bring Alden to Sentosa for the above before school opens on 2 Jan 2008. He loves watching the pink dolphins andthe huge stingrays in Underwater World had the deepest impression on him as I had bought some fishes for him and daddy to feed the stingrays.

Songs of the Sea was really worth the visit for $6. The night ended late at 10pm but it was deemed early for the countdown party at Siloso Beach. We wished we could join them but no way with Alden around who was begging to go to sleep by then.
